As a Bay Area Native
I gotta say that living in LA and watching the Lakers win the NBA title, was more exciting thn the Giants winning the world series. I’m just sayin’ it was better … but I’m still glad the Giants won.
In LA, everybody gets the day off if there;s going to be a ticker tape parade for the Lakers. Like, you dont even have to take a sick day, because even your boss isn’t going to work.
But in the bay,if game 7 starts at 5:00 PM, you have to work til 5 PM, instead of 4.
